Here at Beantown CS Dojo we are all about spreading the KNOWLEDGE of Computer Science Programming to Minority Neighborhoods within the Great Boston Area & throughout MA. I (Ekilisandro Teixeira) grew up on Dudley St. & Blue Hill Ave. and growing up I did not discover Programming/Coding until i was 30 Years Old. Now I want to Service my community and spread the KNOWLEDGE of Computer Science Programming to my Neighborhood and beyond. Here you will find Services ranging from Programming to Basic Computer Skills for Seniors, & Building Drones. Keep in mind Pricing is not set in stone, open to contracts from Government as well. Eki Teixeira (The Founder) also provides a unique Web Development service, he creates Websites using Web Building platforms like WiX, WordPress, & other CMS. The cool thing is after he builds the Website he teaches the client how to maintain it using the Website Builder he built the Website with.

Computer Science Fundamentals - Ages 5 - 10

An introduction to Computer Science using fundamentals from code.org, for kids starting at 5 until they reach Middle School

Computer Science Discoveries (CSD) - Ages 8 - 18

An Introduction to CS using code.org curriculum CS Discoveries, students will learn more about what CS brings to society and what careers they can get into with CS Skills. Ages 8-18

Computer Science Principles (CSP) - Ages 12 - 18

An Introduction to CS using code.org curriculum CS Principles, students will learn more about what CS brings to society and what careers they can get into with CS Skills. Also students will be introduced to Web Dev Languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, & Inro to C Programming Languages). Ages 12-18

Computer Science A (CSA) - Ages 14 - 20

CSA is an intermediate level course that has an AP section to it (JAVA Programming Language for entire course) which is linked with College Board to give College credits to students that complete the course. Here at Beantown CS Dojo we have access to college board and after completion & passing the CSA AP Test you will earn 3 College Credits to most of the schools located in MA. Students will have the option to take it as AP or just to learn more about JAVA Programming language. MUST BE IN HIGH SCHOOL IN ORDER TO TAKE THE COURSE AS AP! Ages 14-20

Game Dev (Unity Learn) - Ages 13 - 21

Students will learn Game Dev for browser Built Games using code.org platform & a curriculum that the Founder (Ekilisandro Teixeira) created. Students will also be using UNITY Game Engine to create more elusive and graphical video games, Unity has a Built in Learn section & the Founder (Ekilisandro Teixeira) created a curriculum to go along with Unity Learn to improve understanding of Game Dev.

For High School Students (Ages 14-19) will be starting a E-Sports Team playing Rocket League, Fortnite, COD, Apex, & More.

Will also have a Streaming part of the course where Students will learn to stream themselves playing the game on YouTube, Twitch, Instagram. Will teach Students editing using a video editing platform like OBS Studio (will help with creating YouTube & Twitch Channels). Ages 13-21

Drone Build/Programming & Piloting (WOZ ED) - Ages 12 - 20

Along side the Great Steve Wozniak Curriculum Woz Ed will be teaching Students to Build Drones & Program them, also how to Pilot Drones, & build a drone racing team is the end goal. Will use the Woz Ed Drone Building Level IV curriculum which comes with everything needed to teach the students how to build, program, & pilot the drone. Will also prepare the Students ages 15+ to take the FAA Drone Piloting Test in order to obtain there FAA Part 107 Drone Piloting license. Also looking to build a Drone racing to team for Students that are interested. Ages 12-20

Google Products & Smart Phone Navigation (TGH) - Ages 55+

Students will learn how to use Google Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Forms, Maps, Chrome Browser. will be working using Tech Goes Home Curriculum alongside the Founders (Ekilisandro Teixeira) curriculum that he created while working with TGH. Will Supply Free Chromebook at the end of the course.

Students will learn how to better navigate their Smart Phones (Android or iPhone), will have a better understanding on scams related to phone calls, emails, & text messages, & will understand how to spot a scam when browsing the internet. Ages 55+

Website Building For Minority Businesses (Teach Clients w/Maintaining the Website After I Build It)

Eki Teixeira (The Founder) has been creating websites for about 4 years now, he will build a Website using WiX, WordPress, or other Website Building Platforms (Pricing depends on Complexity of Website). After the Website is built Eki will teach you how to Maintain your own Website so that you can update and make edits without a Maintenance Fee.
